What capacitors are required to repair an EPOX EP8k3aE? Have some bulging, leaky caps and I'm gonna go ahead and do the replace this week. Thanks!

Re: Epox EP8K3AE
Pics please? Low ESR caps from a Japanese manufacturer are required, values depend on what they currently are. Can't help you with values because I don't have an ep8k3ae. -
Re: Epox EP8K3AE
like chris said, you will need to tell us the values of the caps on the board. they are written on the side of the caps. We also need to know the brands of the caps to tell you what to replace.
the values will be written like 1000uf 6.3V. the brands is either a logo or written name on the caps.
please tell us all values 330uf and above
if you cant read some caps then provide pics. it would be good to see pics anyway.Comment

by momakaI know I've been a little scarce lately (like the last 2-3 years), but I'm still here and still doing my thing with fixing PSUs.
For today's considerations, I have a Seasonic B12 BC-550 [A551bcafh] 550 Watt ATX power supply for you (click on links for full size images).

It's a modern ATX unit with fixed (non-modular) cables and an 80-plus bronze certificate. Here's the label:

by RutsHi
I managed to knock off two capacitors on a EDM 033 board near the southbridge and BIOS chip.
Does anyone know the values of these capacitors?

Hi,
Is there anybody here who could tell me what are the two caps marked bellow? Or atleast send me a picture of those two caps from their board. Size wise I think those will be 2200uF10v, the same as in the CPU VRM, but not sure.... -
by eryjusHello,
First, I am a complete noob with high voltage stuff. I'm learning, but I need help by someone looking over my shoulder.
I recently came into posession of a Heathkit IO-4205 5MHz Dual Trace Oscilloscope. The documentation is copyright 1978. I'm told it works.
I opened it up to check the caps before I applied power, and found the following black caps and wanted to know what they were. They are on the power supply board. I was able to read the name and model and came up with, "Nytronics 162J-1, 0.1uF, 20% tolerance, 2000VDC."
