Hi evryone
Customer applied copper heatsink on ram modules and this caused some shorts on the graphic card.. the card is detected on windows as secondary, gpuz shows bios info, but nothing about memory and gpu clock. Seems ram modules related. If connected as primary card pc does.not boot (only one time it booted with vertical lines (channel c and d vertical lines, but i m not sure).

All Voltages rails are present, ram modules heat up also the gpu aswell

I tried with dmgg.py and this is the result, i have errors.but no faulty chip detected.
Should i replace 6 ram modules? Bad gpu? Thx!

on AMD there is mostly many chips bad

The results returned after testing vram but the number is large, so the possibility is that the gpu is open, the vram is still intact

PC work for schemaltic:
Mainboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4
CPU: I3-3240
Ram: 16Gb
Graphic Card: GTX 1050Ti zotac 4Gb Mini
SSD: 120Gb
HDD: 2Tb

XPS 15 9520 - tpm device is not detected - NO ssd detected

I have an XPS 15 9520 with a damaged bios so I flashed another one from badcaps. in manufacturing mode I changed the service tag but unfortunately ssd is not detected and also the error -tpm device is not detected- please help me. I haven't changed the tpm chip yet. Thanks in advance

Ram Modules with undderfill - tricks for desoldering

I'm working on another Lenovo E14 gen 2 AMD here which has a ton of errors with the factory soldered DDR4 ram chips. I do have a donor board here from which I'd like to use the modules and swap them. Unfortunately, the modules are glued down with underfill, which i have never worked with before.
I tried with a lot of heat on the donor board but the modules won't come loose.
Are there any hint or tricks when it comes to dealing with underfilled chips/ic that could help here

Zotac GTX 1080 8GB / No video / Error reported on all memory modules!

Hi guys!!

I have this video card on my bench, it turns on and the screen goes black!

I used MATS but it showed an error in all memory modules, when writing!

I once got a 1060 with the same symptom, all modules were defective, I rebaled the GPU and it stayed the same.

Remember that I have all the debts ok, 1.35 Vram and such!

Could the problem really be in the GPU?

Could it be the BIOS?

Inno 3d RTX2070 not detected - no I²C connection

Greetings and Salutations!

I have encountered a faulty GPU — an Inno3D RTX 2070 Twin. There was a shorted MOSFET on the Vcore rail.
The faulty DrMOS was removed, and the burned PCB area was milled away.
All voltages are now good, but the GPU is not being detected.

I found that the CS pin of the BIOS (GPU) is not being pulled low, and thus, the GPU isn't detected.
I wanted to measure the SM_Data and SM_Clock, but to my surprise, there is no connection at all.
I thought these pins were used for communication during startup?!?

problem is power on but no display,no bios post

i search bios here ,i found and it work and got display.

second problem is nvme drive not detected in bios intel rapid storage,
i tried a working nvme drive but still not detected in bios,

also tried install system and install intel rapid driver,still not detected....
