    Giada embedded PC DE67

Customer brings in this embedded PC DE67-N1-7200 made by Giada (Giadatech). It's completely dead. Just a little over 2 years old and just out of the extended warranty he purchased.

Was only drawing 20ma, no response to power button or the CMOS reset button either on the front panel. Quick check around the coils showed PL9 was shorted to ground. As I didn't have a schematic, the location of the PL8/PL9 seemed to indicate these were for +3.3V/5.5V. Perform voltage injection and thermal camera. Was hoping it was a cap, but alas, it was another Intel CPU with shorted PCH. Guessing at this point PL9 was for +3.3V.

Manufacturer subsequently provided the schematic (maybe because this product is EOL). Motherboard part number is JHS61E-10. Also confirmed that PL9 was +3.3V. Attached is the schematic and some pics if needed for anyone in the future.

Got to say though, they were pretty co-operative in giving out a schematic. Hats off to them.

ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4) damaged Embedded Controller

    I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)

When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on...

Dell 3537 laptop doesn't boot without embedded display.
    by Calidebear
    Hi,

I have this laptop for a long time, still it does it's job, like browsing, word , excel. Two years back laptop Hinge base broken but now it's damaging other parts of laptop so I tried to totally remove the embedded display cable from laptop and tried to boot only with external display monitor, but it doesn't boot and gives single beeps. BIOS checking the embedded display to be connected.
So checked the schematics to bypass this issue.
Found something but I don't know how to read this schematics.

Seeking Dell G15 Motherboard ICs for Embedded LED Controller (UEL1 and UEL2)
    by NotEnough
    Hello everyone,

I'm working on a repair for my Dell G15 motherboard (model GDL5L) and need two specific ICs to restore the functionality of the Embedded LED Controller (ELC). The missing components are labeled as UEL1 and UEL2 in the schematic, and they're both critical for LED control and system signaling. Here are the details:

    1. UEL1

    • Part Number: SA0000AWJ70

    • Model: STM32F070CBT6TR_LQFP48_7X7

    • Function: This microcontroller manages system signaling, power management, and SPI...

Dell Precision 3440 support for CPU 11th gen

Hi, since both the Dell Precision 3440 and the Precision 3450 have the same chipset W480.
I ask you if it is possible to add the correct microcodes for the Precision 3440.
I am adding the list of files that I have extracted from the Bios in order to help you understand if it is feasible.
