Gigabyte RX 460 4GB fan not spinning

    Hi Guys,
I have another card with another problem.
I got this card on broken status, but I found the main problem, which was one broken mosfet. I replaced it and the card is get picture but fan is not spinning.
I tried to measure the voltages but I dont know where is the problem.
On the last mosfet (Q262) I measured that values as you can see on the attached picture.

    Thanks in advance your help.

Have you tried turning the fan speed up manually?
Have you checked a different fan?
Is there voltage at the fan output pin?

Unfortunately the card doesnt work at the moment.
        Dont get picture.
I measured the voltage and I find one problem: if the card is the default the VCC is only 800mV and the posting is stopped. But if the card is the secondary the VCC is 900mV.
I think it means the regulator chip fault. (NCP81022)

Acer vx5-591G I removed Mosfet and it works without it?! could it cause problem?
          by ipn00tic
          Hello everybody,

I'm learning alone at home (with you) of course.

I have an Acer VX5-591G laptop that was given to me as scrap where I was training and diagnosing.

The Laptop turns on and starts to boot for a few seconds but before displaying any image it short circuits the main 19V power supply and turns off.

I managed to "repair" the laptop and it turns on and everything works, I even did game tests for the CPU and GPU and everything works but what I did was remove a Mosfet (PQ807) from the VCC_GT power supply.
          The VCC_GT power...

How do you test MOSFET in laptops ?
          by Jane
I tried to use this method:

          Testing an N-channel MOSFET:

Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.

Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the

Problem with motherboard Gigabyte X570S Aero G - no detect RAM
          by iT0mT0m
          Hi,

I have problem with detection RAM on this motherboard. When I install CPU(Ryzen 5 2600, 5 4500 or 5 5600G) DRAM Led is lighting all the time. I tried reflash various verion of bios using Q-Flash method and that not resolve my problem. I tried reflash bios by SVOD 4 but that not resolve problem too. All voltages is correct and I don't see any low resistance on coils and other elements on motherboard. I tried replace memory to other and nothing. I don't know where is a problem(maybe connections between cpu and rams socket?). Actually I have boardview for this motherboard and I have...
