with datasheet i found shorted VIN to 5V regulator, next i found shorted capacitor in this lane. after replace i have 3.5V on VIN of regulator, so i search and fid that fuse dont blow but go high resistance avout 15kohm. that makes 12V on one side and 3.9V on other side. after fuse replace i have all voltages and card work normal

Monolythic Power parts have a vertical or horizontal bar on them, its not a letter (not capital I) .https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...85&postcount=3

That's perfect, I'm happy it worked out. BTW, one good way to get from the marking to the part is using Aliexpre...' search engine. However usually some last one or two digits/letters is a batch/date code, so in this example only "ADP" is meaningful, also as SMDFlea stated, the bar is to be omitted as meaningless.

              I have 1v missing.
U7 chip gets 5v and 3.3 but enable is not present.

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
                by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

Identify whats missing from my Evga 1070 ti sc
                by scumbag
                Hello friends,

I accidentally dropped my AIO on my 1070ti while changing it and knocked off a couple of things that vanished, never to be seen again. I'm thinking they are resistors, but I'm not certain because I can't get a read off the two below that look like they are the same from photos I found online. I have boxes of salvage components and I'm sure I can find a replacement to fix this card. If anyone can help, that would be fantastic.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 1070Ti Schematic & Board View

The GeForce GTX 1070 was a performance-segment graphics card by NVIDIA, launched on June 10th, 2016. Built on the 16 nm process, and based on the GP104 graphics processor, in its GP104-200-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on GeForce GTX 1070. The GP104 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 314 mm² and 7,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked GeForce GTX 1080, which uses the same GPU but has all 2560 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading...
