It is much safer to update the BIOS from MS-DOS.
I only do it from Windows if there is no other choice.
And Asrock does have the BIOS still on their website so you don't need a third party website:
    https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/775Dual-915GL/#BIOS

If you need help just ask if there is anything you are unsure about.

Re: asrock 775 dual 915 GL motherboard bios update

thank you very much for the answer sir
yes i would like to ask something because i have not done the procedure again
from floppy disk will I do it through dos?
because the disk driver has a problem
In addition, the old version that I have and is P 1.20 works normally, it just does not give me the option to run the graphics card that I have installed via pci express first
has only vga option on board enable and auto
If i do vga enable at the start of a system that says start windows 7 and the windows icon is formed, the process is performed normally, I enter and in the screen adapters I see two graphics cards, the one that is on board and the one that I put in pci express
I turn off the on board it turns off normally I make a stop and start to see from pci express but it does not show anything I still see from the on board blow even though I have turned it off
when I select auto I see normally from the nature of the card that I have installed in pci express but when it starts the system starts windows 7 where it goes to form the shape of windows only three dots appear as if it sticks does not form the symbol of windows at all although continues normally and goes in and works normally
That's why I want to update the bios whether the version P1.30 has the option of starting vga from PCI because the version P 1.20 has the option of only vga on board (Enabled or auto)

If the floppy is bad you can use Rufus to make a bootable USB flash stick with either MS-DOS or FreeDOS if you don't have a copy of the former.
Then just copy the files from the Asus website to that, try to boot from it and see how it goes.
You will need to start the flash tool manually but it's not hard, Asus describes it on this page here:
        https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.asp?cat=DOS

But let's try to get it booting first.
P.S: Of course I have no idea if it will fix your issue.

Update bios EFCN58WW to EFCN59WW for solving The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter

            I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.

            The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.

When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."

The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.

            I've tried

After updating motherboard capacitors, what to do next (Asrock K7VT2, SOLTEK SL-75FRN2L)
            by dragon3x
Hi, I have some 32 bits computer motherboards that need repair, as they fail to
            power on.

            Here are some examples :

(N.B. "capacitors" indicated here are electrolytic capacitors located in the onboard
            switching supply area).
            (N.B. #2 : I could not find a 3300 microF aluminum-polymer with a higher voltage
            than 6.3 V.)

1 - Motherboard #1 : this is an Asrock K7VT2 (socket A) that still works well. To put it on test
            I replaced capacitors with aluminum-polymer.
            3300 microF/6.3 V. x 4 replaced by 3300 microF/6.3 V. (KYOCERA...

HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns - Complete Black Screen - Only video on live usb
            by iZakre
            Hello everybody!

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer...

Crelander DS16 Dual screen BIOS Update failed recovery with CH341A
            by michelhadid
Hey guys. Michel here. I´m trying to recover a Crelander DS16 Laptop (i7 10750h dual screen laptop, ZENBOOK DUO Clone).

Laptop lost power and failed a BIOS Flash mid flash with AFUWIN/DOS. I of course made a backup beforehand, however, i can´t flash with AFUWIN/DOS now since it doesn´t boot/post anymore (black screen, fans on). I´ve read the BIOS chip (W25Q80DVSIG) with a CH341A Programmer, but AFUWIN Bios backup is 12MBytes and the CH341 read is a 1Mbyte file. I have compared both files and tried changing some data around with a hex editor (used WinOls to compare and edit) but...

BIOS update wont complete - Dell Latitude 7420
            by Julian Bailey
            Hi all

Anyone come across this issue where a BIOS flash will only part complete?

It will update the system BIOS and Primary EC BIOS fine but fails to update the Intel TBT Retimer, Intel TBT Retimer 2 and ME Firmware.

NVMe m.2 drive isnt detected in the BIOS, but you can get into the BIOS fine and it all works in there as intended.

The drive works fine in another laptop.

Link to a video I made of what its doing here:

Any ideas on how to overcome this?

            Cheers...
