HP 24-b010a flash corrupted BIOS Winbond 25Q64FW

I have a HP 24-b010a, W2T75AA#ABG giving 2 long and 2 short beeps which means corrupted BIOS, there is a method to put the BIOS onto a USB flash drive and press either B or winkey+B or winkey+V at post to boot into BIOS recovery utility to reflash the BIOS. This isn't working because the USB ports aren't working.
I've tried flashing the BIOS chip directly it's a Winbond 25Q64FW 1.8v chip, I've tried using a raspberry pi without the power connected and turned on the AIO so it gets the 1.8v from it's own mainboard, would it be safe to try to do it with the AIO powered off and connect the VCC pin to 3.3v from the raspberry pi, apparently HP BIOS chips that are meant to be 3.3v people often set it to 5v for flashing with a programmer?
Or do I need to get an RT809F or RT809H to be able to program the chip removed from the mainboard?

Better get a real programmer, but I think you should still be able to use a 3.3V→1.8V converter with a Raspberry Pi.
The RT809F doesn't support 1.8V natively so you'd need the converter as well.
I think the TL866II supports 1.8V natively, not sure about RT809H.

Help Disabling Flash Protection Range Registers on Lenovo P360 Tiny BIOS
        by abhorsen
        Hey guys,

Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

Here is my thread on Win-Raid detailing the whole process I went through: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/re...h-gen/95478/27

Essentially I managed to boot into Windows while shorting PINs 1+5 of my audio chip to disable the HAP bit...

HP Folio 1040 G1 corrupted bios - new bios flash, unable to update DMI
        by Kashi1712
        Hello all,

I'm facing a strange issue, I do have my old bios where i can find some information about the laptop SN, build and so on for the DMI encoding.

I did flash a new bios on the laptop and i have tried all the tools found everywhere on this forum and other forums but i'm unable to update all DMI info in the BIOS. I still get an error saying "Warning: Machine is not in committed state".

Could somebody guide me on this or maybe help? I'm really hoping to find a way out of this bios thing...

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?
        by mrrubik
        Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

        Steps I took:
        1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
        2. Patched
        ...

Panasonic CF-20G0247VM BIOS Bad Flash Help
        by James Jackson
I usually try to figure these things out on my own but am asking for help now as I have been beating my head against a wall.

Backstory, I initially ended up with a CF20 Mk2 with a locked BIOS. I used aptio to read the BIOS and made the adjustments to the .rom file and attempted to write it back with aptio before reading other users problems with that setup. Well it bricked the BIOS go figure. Computer no longer boots, black screen. I found a clean BIOS on this forum but now I am having ME issues. So I would rather hand over the aptio dump(pre BIOS brick) and a hardware reader dump(post...
