Component identification on BenQ GL2580H (715G8436-M01-000-004L)

    Hello!

I'm trying to fix a image flickering problem (from time to time) of a BenQ GL2580H monitor. Some times the image is perfect but most of the time when you turn the monitor on the image is flickering like the refresh rate is mismatched. It flicker even without connected source. After testing of the voltages unfortunately the main board lost power - power supply board still provides steady 18.04v (pcb markings says 19v) but that voltage is lost at U705 from the pictures. The component is labeled "YVAJF" but I cannot find anything in the internet to tell me what it is actually so I could replace it.

    Could someone help me out?

    Details:
    Monitor: BenQ GL2580H
    MainBoard: 715G8436-M01-000-004L

ACER BM320 Monitor - Horizonal Flickering Lines After a While
    by reessi
    Hello,

The monitor started off showing flickering thin (1 pixel) lines horizontally every say 3mm..

They are black on the right and gradually fade to nothing on the far left.
They start either after 5 mins or up to 2 hours after so annoying for testing.
They flicker continuously very fast! With a slight pause milli-second every second.

Initially I cleaned the LVDS cable and connected to the T-Con and then it worked fine for 3 weeks but not sure if this was just co-incidence.

I tested each half by removing the first the left flex from...

HannStar Hanns-G HC194d LCD monitor repair
    by momaka
Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

AOC 27 monitor Q27G2WG4 doesn't display logo or image on screen
    by 3D Modelka
Hello. I have a problem with my AOC 27 monitor, specifically model Q27G2WG4, which I have been using for 3 years. The monitor stopped turning on: when I turn it on, the backlight turns on, the indicator starts glowing white, but the logo on the screen does not appear, and there is no image. However, if I check in the Windows system, the monitor is displayed as connected and working. I tried connecting it via HDMI and DP, but the result remains the same. If I turn the monitor on and off multiple times, it will eventually start and work. However, when the monitor is working, there are no issues....

Dell monitor PSU vs Dell laptop PSU
    by keepread
    Hi there!
Someone gave me their old monitor, it's Dell S2715ht.
The owner was using it when his PSU began to smell and then to smoke. It literally began to melt. He turned the monitor off, pulled the PSU, and ditched it because it was smelly even after it cooled. So I got the monitor but not the plug.
Now, I tried to bring the monitor back to life, by plugging one of my many Dell laptop PSUs. They are of the same 19.5V, and the wattage of the laptop PSU is higher than that which the monitor is rated for. Visually, the socket on the monitor seems compatible, and the plug plugs...

HP ProOne 23.8 inch G9 ALL-in-One Desktop PC - Working when plugged to an external monitor, no image otherwise
    by Coguar
In the device manager there is no built-in display located. The Intel UHD Graphics are displayed and only the external display is visible. The AiO turns on and works but is only showing a black screen on the monitor.
I checked the voltage on the backlight connector and it reads ~20V. I tried reseating the LVDS and Backlight connector, yet the image still does not show.

Does anyone have ideas whether or not this is a BIOS related issue? The only visible log in the BIOS logs is that the firmware was updated around a month ago.
We already tried to fix it by resetting the...
