recap VGA card 6600T winfast

hello all,

i try recap my vga card, Winfast 6600T 128Mb, its dead already by bulged caps.

the list caps:
6.3V 1500uf = 3
6.3V 470uf = 2

i recapped it all with rubycon n nichicon.

1st try test:
it worked, the monitor displaying winfast logo n can do POST
then, i move the card to another CPU, n it doesn't display anything, just VGA fan n processor HSF spin, can't POSt.
the i test it with capacitance meter , caps that i recapped show 0uf....
damn it... i think its overvoltage

2nd try
then i enlarge the caps volt, i recaped it again with 16V same uf. the result is same....
the strange is, i test the caps on board, it still display 0uf, but after i desoldered it, i test the caps, it normal, showing 1480-1560uf

3rd try
still with my curiosity, i recap it with 6.3V 2200uf... the result is same
until this post, the VGA still not working....

can anyone suggest what sould i do next?
anyone experienced this ?

Does it work in the original motherboard? The first one where it did work?

Agree.
Sounds like new mobo doesn't like the video card. Maybe wrong spec AGP slot.
- What are the mobos?

Put back the right size caps then stop changing caps before you break it.

Volts on original caps will be correct volts. That's not why they go bad.

0uF in circuit can be normal because of effect of other electrically connected parts.
Out of circuit those parts aren't connected anymore and the reading will be correct.

after the failure, i test on the 1st one... it not work either

kind of mobo i tested
i try put back the original uF n Volt, i didn't work either.

the original 6.3V 1500uf , i measure it with capacitance tester, it show 18xx uf , thats why i tried to change it with 6.3v 2200uf at my 3rd trial.

but after it didn't work, i try agiain to change to 1800uf but this time 16v, same result

is it strange while the caps soldered in circuit board, showing 0uf at caps tester? or it should be a value ??

You may have killed the card.

Did you properly discharge the PSU & System before you touched the card?

You have to shutdown, unplug (or PSU switch off), then press the case power switch.
The lights should blink and the fans may spin a bit and then all will stop/go off.
Standby power light (if any) on mobo will also be out.
Only then should you remove or install a card or other component or connection.

See PCBONEZ's last lines:

Where are you located? Update profile please?

[EDIT: Without knowing or seeing this card, does it require a power supply plug direct from the PSU? A picture would help.]
