hey I need some help guys i picked up a biostar u8068 ver 1.1 from a electronic shop today to replace a board in a project I am working on and they siad they were removing caps from it since it was so old the problem I am having is none of the solder pads look like they have been messed with I can provide pics if that helps I just don't want to toss a cpu in it and fire it up if any have been removed.

Great thinks that helps now question the caps that were removed should be 16v 2200f the closest I have on hand is 16v and 2700f should I be ok with those or do I need to find the exact ones?

      Thanks,

2700uf will be fine, if anything, a little better.

What brand and series? Make sure they are low-esr.

No-name caps never good. Just use good caps from the start.

Does the southbridge get hot while the psu is plugged in? If it does, your motherboard is fried from some cheap psu with a high 5vsb.

its supposed to get warm, but not hot. there is a reason why southbridge coolers exist. order some caps and give it a shot.

Good day, everyone! Can anyone please share a board layout (complete with components, test points, etc.) of iPad Pro 10.5 (Model : A1709)? There is already a schematic diagram of iPad Pro 10.5 here but somehow it lacks the complete board layout. I need to know where the specific Test Points (TP) are on the motherboard. I hope someone can help me.

                                Hello fellows,

I am putting a feeler out for a schematic (or ideally boardview) for the Biostar B660-T Silver motherboard.

I had let my guard down and decided to trust the Biostar supplied Windows based BIOS flash tool, only to find that the system would not POST upon restart.

no problem I thought - I would just flash using my trusty CH341 and be on my merry way.

Upon inspecting the board and locating its Winbond NOR, I found it in a rather precarious spot nestled between the RAM slots and PCIe slot and right next to a rather meltable-looking...

                                Hello,

I’m looking for the boardview file for the Biostar A320MH Ver. 6.7 motherboard.
Preferred format: OpenBoardView-compatible (.fz, .cad, or .brd).

I already saw that some revisions (like Ver. 6.0) are around, but I specifically need Ver. 6.7 if possible.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can share or guide me to it!
