Disconnect the Reset switch, if it's connected.
Does the fan spin when you press the Power On Button, and shut down if you hold the Power Button in?

Hi everyone.
I have a HP Elitebook 850 G8.
Serial: 5CG2324XM0
ProdID 6L8D5EC#ABA
It has a Winbond W25Q256JVEN Chip.
I need to remove BIOS Password.
I made a dump with an CHA341A programmer and NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10.
Attached my dump.
I also used the HP Unlocker tool to create an unlocked file (I followed the guidelines)
I also downloaded latest HP BIOS Update (SP158137) which includes 3 .bin files. I found the Number T76 in my original dump, so I used: T76_01210000.bin

I am currently working on my Crosshair VIII Hero mainboard on which a GPU short occured after which the mainboard would not turn on again. I suspected the VRM Controller (IR35201) and soldered it off. After that the board turned on again, obviously without providing voltage to CPU etc. I soldered a new IR35201 on it but it seems like the board still don't want to boot correctly. LEDs etc. turn on normally and after I press start button the power supply turns on fully and stays on, so I guess no shorts. Also nothing gets really hot. The error code shows code 00 and I measured VCPU and it was 0... -

I have an ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI) board with demaged PWM controller ASP1405I, and this is unfortunalely a programmable chip.
Without programming it, it won't start to work on the board - have checked this physically with a new unprogrammed chip.
I'm looking for information about the possibility to readout and program the ASUS PWM chip ASP1405I again with the firmware (configuration file).
To do this, it is necessary to buy a quite expensive I2C type interface card (named USB005), so I'm wondering if it is worth to spend the money, as this makes... -

I have a 2014 vintage Philips 60PFL8708S/12 that suddenly died in the middle of the kids watching a show.
The relevant service manual for the chassis is available here.
The TV no longer powers on, and leaving it powered on for a few minutes results in the layer-1 error with 2 blinks.
When I short the SDM to ground I get the layer-2 error code 53.
The inside of the TV has no damaged components and no swollen capacitors.
In SDM-mode when all the power rails are left on despite entering the protection mode, I tracked down and measured...
