2x EVGA 970 with same issue

Hoping some of you guys on here can point me in the right direction to figure out the cause of these two broken GPU's

I got these in a job lot of other stuff and when tested both of them boot up great, install drivers and seem to be ok.

Whenever I start 3d mark, any game, MSI afterburner the computer restarts.

I have done a fresh install and let windows download the driver with no difference
I have installed the latest driver and no difference
Installed Linux and steam with the same results

The rest of the computer has all checked out I can run the above with a GTX Titan XP no problem but just for fun I tried in another setup that produces the same results

I'm thinking it's a power draw issue but not sure where to start, my PSU is a Corsair g750.

I've got a meter, hot air station and microscope ready to do some testing if someone could point me in the right direction.

You have GPU chip failure on both of these cards.

Might be able to revive them with the hot air station if you do a "reflow", but don't count on it... and if you do, the repair likely won't last long (a few weeks to possibly a year or two max... rarely more, and usually much less.)
