    Ecs P6STP-FN usb question

ok on my Ecs P6STP-FN in device manager it list like a total of 5 usb ports however there are only 2 on the board and i can't find any open headers or places for them so my question is this how do I go about wiring in the additional ports? Also I am trying to stay away from using a hub due to space constraints where the system is going.

    Thanks,
    yonu

    Re: Ecs P6STP-FN usb question

    You are stuck.
You see them in device ma manger because the 'chips' for that many USB ports are built into the chipset but the manufacturer chose not to use them.
When they do that the necessary wiring and other parts are not built into or installed onto the motherboard.

Your best option is to get a POWERED hub.
      - One with an AC adapter.

ok then perhaps my next question should be if they are built in to the chiset how would I go about tagging on to the pins at the chipset for those ports?

You would have to find the SIS tech docs for the chipset.
I don't even know if they are published.

ok thanks will start looking i assume then it would just be a matter of soldering on to the pins on the chip correct?

I'm looking for the wiring diagram for led monitor model DHI-LM19-L200
              by gabri2211
hello everyone, I'm looking for the wiring diagram of this led monitor.
the model is DHI-LM19-L200, but I think that any other diagram of a DAHUA monitor could be equivalent.
I really hope that among you someone can help me to repair this monitor, the screen is black, it doesn't seem like a backlight problem.
I see the presence of 12 volts, 5 volts, but without a diagram the repair is very difficult.
thanks to those who will answer

Is there a 8 pin wiring standard for hot air guns?
              by Crystaleyes
              Hi all.

A while back I was given a very dead Ya Xun 878D+ rework station, the kind that has a fixed hot air gun and a removable iron with the 5 pin socket.

It was a fairly straightforward repair and has been working well, but one thing has bugged me was that the hot air gun couldn't be disconnected, so I bought an 8 pin socket and plug set in order to resolve this.
Yesterday, after stripping it down and cutting the wires, it dawned on me that there is probably a 'standard' as to which wires are connected to which of the 8 pins?

              Obviously, I can...
