Hi guys, got a MSI Delta-L Mobo from a formwe unknown overclocker guy. I tried to boot with J10 Jumper in Safe Mode. I get these card reader codes : quick C1-C0 and it halts on AA :"Scan for F2 Key Stroke" , it is very early (same error w/o ram, agp) , could be a bad bios flash? . If i try to boot it without safe-mode jumper, i only get FF error. I'd really need this board. Thanks

No answer.... pluging my 3000w hot air gun to dismantle this mobo... . -
Re: "Scan for F2 Key Stroke" early init. halt
It has a shorter cpu vrm mosfet. Very tight place to work on, has too many caps and a coil sorround. Will be too much work to desolder all those to get some space to change the mosfet.Comment

Re: "Scan for F2 Key Stroke" early init. halt
Why would you need to desolder the capacitors and coil to change the FET?
Assuming it's SMD - use hot air to remove the FET, hot air to put the new one on. Put tape\foil or something for a heat shield around the capacitors etc if you need to."Tantalum for the brave, Solid Aluminium for the wise, Wet Electrolytic for the adventurous"

by dragometinTV Model: Hitachi 40HYC42
Power Supply: 17IPS71
MainBoard: 17MB95M
Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3
When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.
I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?

by yaya3gmaxDell laptop (E7440, uses the notorious CD3301B power controller + MEC5075 EC + BQ24715 charger IC)
Symptoms:- Laptop works normally on a pre-charged battery.
- Battery does not charge when adapter is connected.
- Without battery:
- Laptop powers on from DC adapter, passes CPU/RAM init checks, then cuts DC power abruptly.(seems to shutdown one of the mosfets in the charger path). Then the loop continues indefinitely
- Speakers “pop” when power cut occurs indicating harsh sutdown.
- If RAM is removed, the system shows RAM missing blink error code indefinitely without cutting DC power
