HP EX485 MediaSmart Server PSU recap

I have a HP EX485 MediaSmart Server that will start up for about two seconds then shut off. I pulled the PSU, Hipro Model HP-U200EF3 LF REV:01 and three of the four Teapo SC 2200uf 10v caps are bulging. I have decided to replace all of the caps and I'm having a hard time finding four of them and one I'm not able to identify the series of, Teapo 1uf 50v 4x8mm. I'm also wondering if I should replace the seven tiny caps that is on what I presume to be the daughter board.

    Cant find replacement.

Re: HP EX485 MediaSmart Server PSU recap

stj, I really appreciate your help. I'm still learning about recapping. My only experience with recapping was on a view-sonic monitor PSU about two years ago.

I don't know if the ripple and impedance is going to work. I know I have some room to work with but some seem to have too much room.

      Teapo SC 47uf 16v A3T1 100ripple 0.63mΩ 5x12mm

      EEUFC1C470 47uf 16v 175ripple 0.800mΩ
      Mouser and Digikey have it.

      Teapo SC 100uf 25v A3T1 250ripple 0.220mΩ 6.3x11mm

      EEUFR1E101 100uf 25v 455ripple 0.130mΩ
      Mouser and Digikey have it.

      Ltec LXY 100uf 35v 8019D 582ripple 0.101mΩ 6x12mm

      EEUFR1V101 100uf 35v 950 ripple 0.056mΩ
Mouser and Digikey don't have it. Farnell Uk has it.

      Teapo Series ?? 1uf 50v 4x8mm

      EEU-FC1H1R0 1uf 50v 20ripple 2.4mΩ
Mouser has it. I have no clue what the ripple or impedance was on the original cap.

with the smaller caps, yuo can usually get away with pretty much anything, so i just throw the best i can get in.

Troubleshooting of redundant F750E-S0 Dell PowerEdge Server
          by omega
          Hello all,
as a beginner electronics hobbyist, after a few years I would like to place another post on this Forum section, given that I did not succeed in finding any useful advice among the other posts.

Over the last years, I have been using a PowerEdge Dell Server with two redundant PSUs, namely the 750W F750E-S0 ones (aka 06W2PW). Unfortunately, last summer one of them failed (perhaps owing to an overheating), and the server had for working to take into account the other one only. Of course I opened and tried to troubleshoot the failed PSU, but each cap I tested seemed to...

Is it no harm to replace with capacitor without ripple current rating?
          by chth96
When I tried to repair LG 29 inch CRT TV, I found that the ESR value of samyoung SMS capacitor(160v 2.2uf), which is very close to D1879 transistor, is 6 ohm.

Judging from above ESR Meter Table,I think It is necessary to replace this sms capacitor. So I visited local electronics shop, and I purchased 160v 2.2uf rubycon YK capacitor.
But when I browse through rubycon YK datasheet,I found that there is no ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf specification. But On the contrary, I found 39 mA ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf SMS capacitor.
          Rubycon YK DataSheet (b...

IBM NetVista Pentium III - USI Motherboard w/ Teapo SC
          by iMic
          Hi folks,

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.

The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU...
