What is the voltage ov PPBUS_AON_LUXE?
You should have 15V on PPVOUT_LUXE, but 14V is also okay.
Also the chip has an input from 5v_S2, you have 2 0402 caps near the backlight chip that you can measure, Those macs are prone to liquid damage exactly on the connector or backlight chip, also worth mentioning is the TCON on the display might be at fault, did you try with a known good screen?

Macbook Air M1 A2337, no charging and then no backlight
        by berlincaps
        Dear BADCAPS Forum,

I am happy to have found this place and would love to get some input on my issues with a MacBook Air M1 (A2337).

A couple of days ago, I was using the MacBook on a low battery, and while running VS Code it shut down due to low battery. I rarely let it reach the point where it turns itself off, and if it does, I usually charge it immediately. This time, however, I left it uncharged until the next evening, and when I plugged it in, nothing happened. I waited until the following day, and still nothing.

I followed all the recommended troubleshooting...

        Macbook A2442 no backlight 820-02098
        by PITERPENY
Guys, I need some help with this case.

The MacBook originally had a working backlight, but it had a strange issue: it would only wake from sleep when the charger was connected. If I disconnected the charger, the backlight would start flickering. If I closed the lid and opened it again without the charger connected, the MacBook would not turn the backlight on and, instead of going back to sleep, it would completely shut down.

I suspected the UP800 backlight driver, so I replaced it. After replacing UP800, I now have absolutely no backlight at all, although the image is...

        MacBook Pro M3 16 / Model A2991 / Board 820-02935 no LCD backlight
        by szape
        Hi!

I have a Macbook Pro M3 A2991 which has no LCD backlight. Everything else works. Removed bottom plate, it is in immaculate condition, was not disassembled before.

I've only made 2 measurements so far when macbook is turned on (i was in a hurry):
PPVOUT_LUXE_XW at CP830 is 0.086V when backlight flex is connected
PPVOUT_LUXE_XW at CP830 is 0.086V when backlight flex is disconnected

Please help me how should i continue.

        Thank you!

Macbook pro A1706 / Backlight flex cable compatibility
        by gabrielA7
        Hey guys!!

        I’ve got a question here!
I have a MacBook Pro A1706 that needs the backlight cable replacement — the well-known issue — but the problem is that the code on my original cable is 821-00571-A, and the one I have on hand to install is 821-01229-A.

Well, I asked ChatGPT about it, and the guy told me they’re not compatible and it could even burn the backlight circuit!!

Here’s what the bot told me:

I said to him: “I’m going to install the 821-01229-A.”

        ChatGPT replied:
Understood — but before you solder or install the 821-01229-A,

        No Backlight Macbook A1990 820-01041
        by Comp_Pro
        Hello all,

Am trying to figure out this backlight issue with this A1990 Macbook Pro.

        Tests performed:

There is no backlight even with a good screen.
Backlight IC is receiving the correct support voltages.
        Fuse F8400 ok
        Current sense resistor R8400 ok
Backlight IC is receiving 3.3V on enable pin.
Backlight IC receiving voltage from PPBUS_G3H, aprox 12.5V.
Backlight IC receiving 5V from PP5V_G3S
Backlight IC BKLT_SCL and BKLT_SDA both measure 0.545V diode mode to ground
        I2C_BKLT_SCL and I2C_BKLT_SDA both measure...
