    6800XT Red Devil

    Hello.
Looking for some help mainly to read schematics and understand posible reasons for missing signals.
GPU in question is 6800xt red devil.
It was artifacting to begin with, Tserver memtest's no faults found. Put card on shelf for 6 months. started troubleshooting again last week and card is totaly dead.

    12V rail
    5V rail
    3.3_AUX and thats it.
1.8V_S5 missing and no other voltages.
I dont have Enable signal for 1.8v
    Schematics and boardview attached.

Can any one advice me on what signals should i investigate. ? Thanks.

          by HelpMeRepair
Hi guys , thanks for the help and hint in advance

I have a 6800XT that is detected , but im not able to memtest it ( says it cant buffer )

if i try to benchmark it , it goes artifact and crash after few seconds.

          anyone have a clue ? thanks !

card is a AMD FE 6800XT , and any hardware mem guide checkup can help if you have any tuto too !😀

edit : component looks good after visual inspection .

What IC does AsRock usually use to make the PWM signals for GPU fans ?
          by MasterCap
I have an AsRock Taichi 7900xtx, and the minimum fan speed is way too high at 1000rpm, and thats with it's Quiet BIOS switch on, and me setting the fan profile as low as it goes, while on.

Now 1 thing I could do is just make some circuit to put in between the fan the the GPU, and leave the fan on all the time, but anytime the GPU is sending the PWM for min speed, I'll just send something lower and quieter.

But does anyone know what how AsRock usually sends the PWM to the fans on GPUs and mobo's? Is it from the MCU that's often near the 12V inputs and fan jack ? Or is...

5v are present before pressing, and 3.3v on the bios. my measurements after pressing the button.

Now I have an i5-9600k which I checked on another board, it works there, it can find a pentium or a celeron, because I noticed that the VCCSA and VCCIO signals do not come, who controls them ? Thx...

          AMD 6800XT Reference Model
          by Kenny Low
Hi all, first of all, I am not able to find the schematics or boardview for this gpu model, so I am hoping someone here will point me in the right direction. I am a newbie.

This gpu fans all stopped working after doing fan replacement. Some components of on the pcb board blew up during the power up. The cause of this was realised shortly after that the 12v wire
was carelessly caught in a screw which in contact with the fan shroud. The fan shroud of this gpu is made from metal and hence shorted to ground.

Attached pic of the pcb with the burned component and pic...

RX 5700 Red Devil PCIe pins help
          by Goblin999
Hey guys . Just purchased a 5700 Red Devil with shorted pcie pins(12v + gnd I presume) . You can see the damage in the picture attached . Can anyone who has a working one point me where they go ? I know the first 3 pins are 12v power supply and the next one is GND , but I have no clue where the 5th pin should be going and I cannot find a board view anywhere . Any help will be much appreciated as I am trying to restore the pins and see where it gets me . Cheers...
