Would be interessting what kind of caps on that board are used. IMHO anything from MSi from that era is considered a badcaps equipted board. probably some Teapo, G-Luxon or GSC.

I don't remember GSC on MSI boards but they used Lelons a lot...

Re: MSI KT3 ultra MS6380E Ver 1.0 wired problem

I notice most of the cap near VRM or the socket area are Rubycon ..
but when i measure the resistance between the P_ok and P_on
both ways give 0 ohm .when i compare other ok boards it's only one way
give 0 ohm and the other way some resistance..could it be cause by
badcaps ? or integrated circuit ?

Re: MSI KT3 ultra MS6380E Ver 1.0 weird problem

I've also got one of those KT3 Ultras (ver 1.0), and the board is populated with Nichicon (HM series), Teapo (SM series) & what look like black/gold with an M logo (Panasonic?) located around the CPU socket

For what it's worth, mine has an annoying quirk relating to drive recognition, it works but continues the whole detect @ boot scenerio with the drives... it annoyed me so much I shelved it and bought a new Epox RAID motherboard

BTW no bloating noted on any of the capacitors (yet)

Additionally... use your D-LED status indicator (that accompanies this board) to follow it's progress through POST

Oh... sorry to hear that, I got one with my Neo2 Platinum as well, you'd figure that it's no good to anybody unless they've got an MSI motherboard that supports it... hence they'd include it with the board on sale

But i think even with the D-Bracket i don't think it can let me know the problem
coz i still need to power up the board first before the indicator will indicate the error
                right ..

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                  by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                  1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                  2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                  3. Problem: TV shuts down
                  ...
