    GeForce FX5200 capacitor

One of the capacitors of my video card has "leaked". The video card is completly useless without it.
    Here it is:
    6.3V
    1000uF
    105°C
    dimensions 8x12mm
I don't know what brand it is but there is something like GJT on it. It is black color. There are 2 others the same like this one on the card.

Please can you suggest me what exactly capacitor can I replace mine with?
And if I replace one should I replace the others?

You already have the specs right there in your post. Replace it, and all the others like it with quality brands, and the card should be just fine again.

Which brand is the best? List 3-4 because I don't know if I will be able to find them.

I would replace them with some low esr ones like rubycon 1000uF 6.3V or 10V

www.farnell.com have many to choose between:

Rubycon, Panasonic, or Sanyo/Nippon are all personal favorites of mine. If you're located in the USA or Canada, shoot me an email or PM.

I can mail you a Rubycon MBZ 1000uf 6.3v if you're in the US, PM me if interested.

              Re: GeForce FX5200 capacitor

i think he will (eventually) need three of them. but replacing one is good for the start. see if it will fix the problem. 1000uf or 1500uf is fine me think.

rubycon mbz and sanyo wg is my favorite for vga recapping. simply because they are the best ones available i can get. i just have too much choice, to be honest... (->caps collector)
