    Recommendation For My Caps Choice(s)

So Im planning on having a motherboard recapped. Its from a legacy computer that is around 20 years old (Commodore Amiga).

Ive been looking further round the forums and come up with these as choices (Notes are added) in no particular order :

    1. NRSX. Ive found the NRSX related parts for the caps list. I have not used these before and know nothing about them other than they seem highly regarded here on the forum. No supplier found yet.

    2. Panasonic (FM/FC). Ive found all the part numbers for a replacement set using a mix of the FM and FC series. These seem highly regarded across several sites I have looked at. Ive found suppliers for some of these but not all, yet.

    3. Maxson (GF, GT, RS). Ive found replacementsa for all I require based on these ranges, all from this site. They sound ideal but I dont really know anything about them. Ordering would be easy obviously because they are all available from here.

So, based on your far more extensive knowledge than mine and your experience, what would the recommendation be from the above three options ?

Failing these, what other would you recommend ?

Any advice / feedback greatly appreciated

Polk PSW125 capacitors choices for a beginner.
        by Eh546
I was looking to repair my Polk PSW125 subwoofer plate amplifier, i've checked around the web and it seems to be a capacitors problem.

Took apart the amp, and made a visual inspection, everything's seems fine, fuse ect no burn marks, but i noticed 3 caps that were a little bit bulged. One 400v 150uf, one 50v 47uf, and two 63v 47uf.

I noted each caps voltages and uf anyways, and made a list on digikey. Some recommended Nichicon and Panasonics ones (FR and FM) serie. So I tried to stay with the Panasonics FM-A serie.

I would like to know if the caps i selected...

        High-ambient-temp smoke sensor recommendation
        by Behemot
Not sure if this is the best section, so feel free to move it. I'm tasked to get some "safety device" in case something goes wrong to insure a dry sauna does not burn again. This time the wall with stove on it has been covered with mineral insulation material as well as linings. (Harvia states their stove can be mounted directly on wooden walls! get that! ).

Idiots wired extra (UTP, get that second time ) cable to the sauna ceiling. Is there ANY smoke detector which could survive on the ceiling with up to 100 (120?) °C there, or just all those house toys...

Recommendation for programmer for Sony android tv emmc
        by imran333
Hi can anyone recommend me a good programmer that is capable of programming Sony android main boards as the boot loop issue is common, and want to start programming them preferably in circuit as I have heard it's possible as there's many pictures of the points to solder to, also I noticed some require rst_n connection and not all programmers have that if your doing it in circuit

        NTC Thermistor recommendation
        by Francesc V.
The NTC thermistor is blown up in a 650W SMPS (The green lentil). I can't see any reference on it.

The assumption is that it should be a low resistance, because It's the bridge between the diode output and the input from the positive main capacitor.

Any reference you would recommend to have some at home for this situation? Or shall I put a jumper where It was the NTC?

        Thanks in advance,
        Francesc
