the last combo i can get was ecs 741gx and duron applebred 1800mhz. about $55-60.

of course the axp will be more expensive than sempron, it no longer in production, and market law rules.

I have registered my name and there are tons of interesting discussion about this matter. The one with how to enable SSE is interesting too. I have an Aplebred 1800 that the bios wont recognize the SSE capability.

In those pictures, why did ECS put "Warranty void if removed" stickers on almost everything removable on that motherboard, even on the CR2032 battery?

Good recap job though.
