Typical bad cap syndrome...I sent the board back to abit over a year ago not knowing anything about bad caps, just as a defective board. They sent it back to me un-repaired saying they couldn't find a problem with it. Several months later I stumbled onto this website from an ebay auction, and realized that bad caps were the problem. Abit issued me an rma for $25 or something like that with the caveat that it would take a while to get a replacement.
Eight months later I figured they had long enough and tried to contact them about the status. I still have the rma number, but emails, and phone calls go unreturned. I finally gave up, and am shopping for a replacement. Just wondering if anyway else has had similar experiences with abit. I know they sold a lot of boards with bad caps pretty much all the vp6s from what it looks like. I was hoping maybe someone had insider info on how to contact a real person at abit? All I can get is email and voicemail which as I said have gone completely unreturned...
