MSI MS-6507 Rev.1 (OEM for Medion Aldi MediaMarkt in Germany)

MSI wants to supply replacement!

nice photos

the K condenser are Rubycon (very nice)
the green are Lelon (worst)

if MSI give you another board with Lelon condenser it will fail again in 3 years.

MSI supplied only 15 condensers to me with.
That is better than nothing.

i woul`nt replace a board wit the same crap caps.... if MSi send only crap replacements i would do the jo onc and right with god Rubycons.

I have a Medion Titanium 1110 which I was told is the same as the 8000 model by Medion. I started having restarts about a month ago same IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQAL errror, BUGCODE error, etc. My capacitors are fully errupting brown (?) substance. I too, have and MSI motherboard. Where can I get repalcement info, do I need to contact MSI? Medion wants $85 to send out box and diagnose and then up to another $250 to repair! I may as well go get another computer unless MSI will agree to replace the board. I too purchased mine from Aldi. Any info would be appreciated. I can't even get mine to boot at this point from CD or otherwise. When I called Medion they said they had not dealt with this issue...yet! Dell has been facing a similiar situation (look on Cnet) and they did a recall on their desktops and repaired them at no charge according to the article). I also made medion aware of this today while talking to tech support. Anyone send a letter to the MedionCorp. or any petitons out there yet? Seems to be a fairly recent issue from what I have researched. Any help would be appreciated. You all may as well be quit trying to find problems with memory
or device drivers etc. Check for overheating also, this is what mine did before the capacitors blew.

if you are in the US send private message to Topcat or KC8ADU on this forum, they will replace the capacitors for you at a reasonable price. Topcat is the owner of these forums, KC8ADU is another mod like myself. both do great work.

$85+$250 forget it, medion are crazy!

Wouldn't your message be more appropriate posted here if you have a Medion Titanium 8000 as it has a MSI 6701 motherboard.
