Hi all,
Trying to understand weird fault on this Mobo.
(board still under warranty so i try to keep the debugging without chip removal)
Boards power ups, EZ Debug LED indicating CPU DRAM, VGA in order.
Boot LED doesn't start and then restart in loop mode.
For a second i can feel it's trying to post (screen indication led is on) but it then restarts.
If i replace RAM i get RAM change notification and press F1 to enter setup.
Keyboard doesn't seem to respond and after 1 second it restarts.
I tried disconnect power, long press on power button, take out CMOS battery, short CLRCMOS jumper for 30 seconds - but no change.
For me it seems like a BIOS issue (but i will let other experts here give their opinion)
Is there a way to re-flash the bios without removing it from the board?
(i do have an EPROM programmer but it's required removing the chip from the board which rather avoid to keep the warranty)
Maybe some way to make it recover from the backup bios chip?
(I try to fix it since RMAing it will be a hassle its far away and require the whole PC to be shipped)
