Hello, I just bought a RTX 2070 which was from a broken prebuilt PC.
This GPU gives just a black screen but the PC still boots up, not recognized by Windows.
This is my first broken GPU which I am troubleshooting since trying to learn how these things work.
This GPU has no prior repairs done and I just took the heatsink and stuff out of the way and did some basic multimeter measurements and came up with few questions.
If you can see anything concerning on the board let me know
None of the connectors were shorted ground, on the first picture the red marked coil is shorted ground and I marked couple of the coils on VRM with blue which seems kinda off.
Also on the backside around VRM there is some darker spots, but doesn't seem like it's been burnt, is this normal?
Any ideas how to troubleshoot further?
