Hi.
Cannot find that beepcode listet for troubleshooting on HP website too. Is there a previous story like changed components, was it transportet, bios update attempt etc.? If not happened allready u should try the basic steps.
Unplug PSU, remove CMOS battery, check all components especiall RAM and Graphiccard for proper seating, use only one RAM modul on different DIMMs and unplug all unnecessary peripherals etc.
Is there any changes? -

It's a brand machine, and I've done all the basic troubleshooting, removed cmos battery and storage devices, swapped the PSU, RAM and Processor for known good ones, and the machine is using onboard graphics. I suspect the PCH is faulty.Comment

It's definitly 6 long and 3 short, not the other way around. Other HP manuals say the code is for a "serious motherboard component failure". I suspect its the PCH, its getting fairly hot when injecting voltage onto the 3.3volt rail.Comment

Hello everybody , this is my first post so ill try to be as informative as possible .
Bought second hand , came with i5 9600t (checked and it's actually a lid swapped 8600T,got scammed) , bought to be a server , everything worked fine at first then i sometimes would not be able to turn it on , it reached a boot loop state that had some kind of pattern ,restarting at different intervals.
Eventually would start after 20-30-ish loops, and would stay on indefinitely. Thought it was some form of brown out that was happening so changed Ac adapter to a new one, same behavior.

I need a BIOS dump for HP ProDesk 600 G4 Desktop Mini.
Machine details:
- Model: HP ProDesk 600 G4 IDS Desktop Mini
- P/N: 2YE28AV#ABE
- Motherboard: DA0F81MB6H0 REV:A
- CPU: Intel Core i5 8th gen
- BIOS chip 32MB: Winbond W25Q256JVSQ (SOIC16)
- EC chip 16MB: Winbond W25Q128JVSQ (SOIC8)
Symptoms:
- Black screen, no POST
- 6 red + 3 white beeps
- Fan spins full speed then stops
What I already did:
- Dumped both chips with CH341A
- 16MB EC chip was almost empty (99% FF) →... -
My asus board doing something strange, didn't saw anything like that before
I get 1 short beep on start... and after five secs i get 1 long and 3 short beeps.
Changing CPU, RAM and GPU didn't gave any results. -
Hello,
I've had this PC for awhile and got it broken and have been trying to repair it.
I tested voltages, 3.3v is good, 5v is good, 12v is good (however I do get 11.82v, which is a little weird but it might just be my multimeter)
I also get 1.8v when powered on.
This computer has a mind of it's own and I'm not sure what to do.
At first the behavior was that it will light up (fans spin, lights turn on, dvd drive is active) but no display, no nothing, no codes or anything. Then it would start playing one long static beep after many trys, this long...07-20-2026, 10:11 AM
