Hi dude. Thanks for ur reply. Your damn right. The EZP is not that good but it worked so far without any issues. Looks like the W25R series are not that easy to handle but its different story finally.

I know needed to upgrade but there different things to buy first, like SVOD or vertyanov to play arround with ec firmware and also need thermal cam. Santa will bring it hopefully this year

Thanks to Markus who gave me a hint that me stupid idiot was reading out the wrong eeprom....

Hi Markus. Mabye you can help me out? Dealing with a Latitude 5430 and W25R128JVSN EEPROM. Got scammed on ebay Kleinanzeigen with two devices which has Admin PW. My readout seems to be trash, the first offsets are empty. Guessing my dump is a piece of crap finally, because this cant be a good sign. If I compare with other images in this topic its completeley different.

Maybe theres logical readout issue due to the parametes of selected EEPROM.

Using EZP 2023 but this chip is not listed. Its soldered...

Re: Surface 4 Pro BIOS locked

Dont forget dude that people are going to help in their free time

Since even with ur backup (if it wa read out correctly) the device is still dead you should open a dedicated topic for ur problem. It may help.

It looks like u damaged something maybe when unsoldering the eeprom or whatever so just a working rom might not help due to chiplevel issuses.

Open a separate topic and add informations, pictures and of course your dump file. This is a bios request only part of the forum- Pretty sure somebody will...

  • Re: HP ProDesk 600 G6 SSF, 6 long, 3 short beeps

    Hi.

Cannot find that beepcode listet for troubleshooting on HP website too. Is there a previous story like changed components, was it transportet, bios update attempt etc.? If not happened allready u should try the basic steps.

Unplug PSU, remove CMOS battery, check all components especiall RAM and Graphiccard for proper seating, use only one RAM modul on different DIMMs and unplug all unnecessary peripherals etc.

    Is there any changes?

  • Re: Dead Ideapad 14 ADA previous repair attempt

    Good morning.

Thanks for ur reply. The donor is from an v15 ada. it uses the exact mobo thats why iam wondering that there are no schems for this sucker. Seems like its used for all 14 and 15 series. Sadly not possible to use the dump of it because the EEPROM I removed in the past, also a few mosfets are missing.

Ill check the DIMM Slot then in next step. Good idea of course. Flashed a official rom which I got from a DC member just to see if something changes but no result. If it should post and create...

  • Re: Dead Ideapad 14 ADA previous repair attempt

    Thanks for ur reply dude.

Since this guys played arround with the bios I wanted to have a clean base before tracing chiplevel issues. I was kinda confirmed when I removed the EEPROM and the device shows exactly the same behaviour. As the device turns on, power led is on, fan is spinning for a short while and also the charger is recognized Iam guessing theres nothing wrong with it except it seems not to be able to post. The usual things allready done like different known good RAM, unplugged all unnecessary periphery etc....

    Hi dude.

Exactly the same issue. Somebody has a boardview for v14-ADA gv451&gv551 nv-d151 rev 1.0?

    Thanks in advance

  • Dead Ideapad 14 ADA previous repair attempt

    Hi guys.

I got a Lenovo 14 ADA Laptop from another shop. They tried to flash the bios with a clip after the device was without any signs of life. Obviously its not posting and they nocked of a small parts arround the eeprom. Doesnt matter at least, replaced allready from a donor. The rest of the board looks fine.

Iam pretty new in this area but they begged for help and I want to learn something about it. Doesnt matter how it ends.

I decided to unsolder the Winbond W25Q64JW and make a dump with ezp in first step but I am wondering if I read out bananas....
