Well for most stuff i'm just a curious, but i try to learn by myself with little or nothing on schooling, always have tough time to understand things, the more i reed the less i know, some times the fix is so obvious but take to long to understand, most time when i don't get it for the first time i let it go and figure it out later when i least expect ,but i never let go till i really get it.Well i try to learn to many trades too many things for my own benefit but nothing that i could earn my living with, just for pleasure hobby and kill time and get busy.

I think this Wep secure will be enough, better then nothing, also the signal wont go too far just to the apartments next to me and those people don't need my wifi they have their own,

Why does my ISP router hate my "homemade" power supply??
        by double_DD
        Hi all,

It's gonna be a long intro, so please buckle in, as it's a problem that's been bugging me for several days now. Thanks in advance.

So, I have 2 modems/routers, whatever the proper nomenclature is, one from ISP and one mine. I want to power them via USB-C rather then their original mains adapters (for reasons, that are hard to explain to sane people). Both routers come with 12V/3A mains adapters.
For this purpose I acquired USB-C charger with 250W and 5 ports, 2 of which can supply max 20V/3A. Since 12V isn't a standard PD voltage option (and to future proof,...

        ASROCK Z270 GAMING-ITX/AC - IR35201 - NEED THE VRM CONFIG FILES
        by DynaxSC
        Hi,

I have an ASROCK Z270 GAMING-ITX/AC motherboard with a fried VCORE controller IR35201 (International Rectifier, currently Infineon).

This chip is unfortunately programmable, so after replacing the chip, it needs to be programmed with a config file, which I do not have, as the chips is not readable any more (total short on power supply pin).

Some of you maybe know, it is possible to read out the config file from a board with a working chip using the USB005 I2C adapter and IR/Infineon software called PowIRCenter. The software is available freely at Infinion...

Need help for HP ProBook 445R G6 Secure boot key removal from BIOS dump
        by ktcar214
        Hello.
I tried to add a custom secure boot key (for secure booting Linux) to my bios, but after this, my laptop bricked. After adding secure boot key (via PowerShell) and enabling secure boot my laptop turns on, shows HP logo, and after 5 seconds it turns off and on, and it repeats forever.

My goal is to either turn off secure boot or remove my custom key from BIOS dump.

I'll attach my bios dump (version R79_011700) from my bios chip 25b127dsig, my keys (PK/KEK/db), and bios dump from another HP ProBook 445R G6(I found it on this forum. URL: https://www.ba...

UPNP, "Standards" and hardware that implements it
        by EasyGoing1
I've been writing a program in Java that is really just a robust front end for the use of GitHiub Gists, providing a nice interface for developers to organize, maintain and access code snippets that we tend to need from time to time in our different projects.

One of the features of the program is the ability for people to share their Gists with others who use the program over a LAN or over the Internet. The program just basically serializes a Java class and encrypts it then wraps it into a UDP datastream and sends it over to another user.

So I decided to implement UPNP...
