Gateway FPD2485W processor board caps - help!

Folks, first let me say "Thanks" to all who post questions and answers here. They have been very helpful!!

Now, I am ashamed to admit, I made a beginner's mistake. Normally, I am very careful in disassembly of things to only remove one thing at a time. In this case, I got in a hurry, and screwed up a little, and of the five caps I took off the processor board, FOUR are 47uF 16V, and ONE is 100uF 16V. I feel like such an idiot, as I can't recall where the 100uF came from.

On my Gateway FPD2485W, the processor board - C605, C334, C619, C223, and C 227 - of those five, one is a 100uF. Can anyone tell me which one?

I've looked at the pictures in various places in the forums, but none of them have the lucky orientation to tell me which one is not like the others...

I suspect C223 or C227 is the culprit, but I'd hate to go through all this work and mess something up at the tag end!

    Thanks, in advance!

Well, after replacing all the caps on the processor board, and on the power board, I put everything back together again and the gorgeous picture and sound are back.

This forum is an excellent resource, and you folks are great at giving extremely good directions!

I hve two minor issues to resolve... The USB connection seems to be non-functional. I have to confirm I connected it back up correctly. Also, I am having trouble getting the ribbon cable for the buttons to work right. I have no buttons. When I took the monitor apart, I noticed the ribbon was TAPED to the outside if the bracket, rather than being inserted into it. I now wonder (since I tried to use the thing the way it was supposed to be used) if the slot is broken somehow, and that's why the ribbon was taped on. Any advice on how to get that back in place without too much hassle will be greatly appreciated!

Using deductive reasoning and logic, I surmised the 100uF cap went in spot C227. Then I reanalyzed my behavior, and realized I started with that cap, so it had to be a 47uF. I surmised the 100uF went to C223, and that's where I put it. Monitor seems to be working so far, with the two minor issues noted above.
