    DCL20A screen white out

I have a DCL20A when turned on operates normally for about ten seconds and then the screen whites out. The on indicator led remains blue indicating normal operation. If I turn off the display and turn it on again the normal image returns for ten seconds and whites out again.

I open the casing and noticed two capacitors disfigured. I replaced them and symptoms remain the same.

If anyone can offer some insight it will be much appreciated.

normal display during first ten seconds.

    display after ten seconds.

Were all of the secondary caps replaced?
Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

If all white, the Video/signal board stopped sending signal and all you can see is white because the CCFLs are still on. Or LCD Panel itself is shot.
Krankshaft is right. You should replace all the secondary side caps

And check the caps on the logic card. There are typically three voltage regulators there. If the one that supplies the panel shuts down, it could cause this problem. Another possibility is the power supply on the panel board. That one generates the voltages required by the panel.

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
          by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

          Sharp E50E41NKFMBXNNX white screen

I'm trying to fix this TV that I got from a friend. It displays a white screen only. What is weird though is that when I first turned it on it appeared to work for a few minutes but then got the white screen and I haven't got the picture back even for a second after that initial time. If I plug in an HDMI device, the audio is played through the TV speakers, and the power button turns the TV on and off.
I've tested the caps on the power supply with an ESR meter while in circuit they seemed within spec.
Tried wiggling the LVDS while on and no change to the white screen. Have removed...
