    Acer 19" working?

I am using an Acer AL1916W right now. I am trying to decide if I should open it up and change the caps or wait until it fails. I hate to mess with something that is working but I also hate not to prevent a failure. I don't leave my computer on so it only gets used a few hours a week. It's about a year old i think.

    Any opinions?

    Thanks,

    Bob

Fair i guess. I just got a Westinghouse 19 recapped. That's why I'm asking. I'm definately not great at desoldering. All I have is a spring type tool.

Better do it now. If you wait, any bad cap(s) in there can take something else when they go south ....
It will be practice anyway ....
