    Burned LCD screen

    My old monitor LG 206WTQ-SF suffered a last trauma in my carelessness: I forgot the nozzle of freshly acquired heat station oriented to the monitor panel over 10 minutes and that's the result: a disc of 20mm diameter.

    I suspect that the panel was destroyed by very high temperature (~250 Celsius degrees), but I want to know if there is a chance to fix it ...

    I don't think so...just get a new Monitor and be a bit more careful next time.

      you could strip it down to see what layers are burned .. not much to lose now .

        My guess is that the liquid crystal is fried onto the glass now. Not sure how you can remove it at this point, then you have to replace the liquid crystal...
