Hi guys, I'm suspecting this monitor of bad caps but can't open it for the life of me. Camera is missing at the moment so can't post a picture, but essentially there are five screws holding the backing on. I've removed the one out of each corner, but there's a fifth and final screw which is blocked by the stand. The stand feels like it's screwed onto the backing from the inside.
Model is an Acer AL1714. Driving me completely insane, I can't open it without removing the stand and can't remove the stand without opening it.
Any advice?

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
