    Hey guys!

    My screen started showing these Vertical lines together with a lot of green dots which moves according to the picture on it.

    Any ideas?

      Hi all! A bit of an interesting and unusual problem: as the the title suggests I have a Hisense H50N5300UK that reboots when showing fullscreen solid red images (and some other solid colours, but red generally causes the issue the fastest). I first came across the problem assuming it was an intermittent issue, but later lucked into finding out that a title sequence of a show I watch happened to trigger the reboot.

      What happens:
      • TV appears to operate normally, for an indefinite amount of time until a problem image appears

      Starting this thread because Capkid doesn't seem to be reprogramming controlboards anymore (LG 60PZ950 with red maldischarge) and my game-plasma also has maldischarge (Hitachi 42PD3200). So I will grasp at straws to keep them running. I am extremely bad at throwing stuff away.

      Is there any merit to this link?

      Very short version: Specific caps seem to loose their capacitance and/or increase their ESR. This may cause the maldischarge. Replace them with better/bigger/newer ones and problem solved.

      From the limited knowledge I have on the subject, I think...

      This laptop has dots that show up once on the windows login screen. The bios menu and windows loading phase doesn't have them.

      What I have tried:
      change screens but it's not a screen issue as they show on internal and external display.
      Changed SSD and Windows
      Wrote a new bios
      Inspected if there is anything unusual on the board, none

      Has someone seen this before, what could be the issue...

      Laptop Showing no display only fan spinning

      My laptop (Asus k43s) was working for a day after I cleaned its fans but then it stopped showing display (blank screen) and only would show display on a different monitor but even after booting up it doesn't let me login to my account (I use Fedora Workstation)

      I removed all screws, it showed display but turns off after 5 seconds

      Now it stopped working completely only fan spinning...
