    Dell 2208wfpt dead

Dell 2208wfpt and it's totally dead and after some reading it sounded like bad caps however after getting the power board out all the caps looked fine. Just for the heck of it I pulled out all the 330uF caps and checked with my ESR meter and they were just fine. I checked the fuse and it was ok I also checked the diodes and transistors. I have 165volts and the big cap but not sure where to go or if anybody know of a common problem with these.

How about those 4 small caps (startup caps) in the primary side?

Have you measured voltage on pins of the PSU output cable - any sign of a standby rail at all or are all rails totally dead?

What is the voltage reading across the large 450V cap?

165v at the large cap as stated in the first post.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
              by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.

              Dell dockstation WD15 is dead
              by Francesc V.
              Hi:

A friend gave me this DELL WD15 dockstation that does nothing. Not detected by computer, no digital output.........just leds shines when it’s plugged in.
Here are the findings, followed by good pictures. :-)

              When pluged in, LED3 glows

DELL Latitude 5410 - dead; pwrbtn flashing
              by YellowJacket
              Hi folks,
DELL Latitude 5410, board number FDZ41 LA-J371P Rev: 1.0 (A00), schematic uploaded in different post, here is the link --> https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=3484415

When I connect it to a power ( DELL round charger, or USB-C ), LED on the power button starts flashing white, and the laptop doesn't do anything ( flashing slows for a very brief time in time when I press it, but it continues again ). Battery is not charging. While the charger is connected, I have few voltages present, but some of them are fluctuating, see attached pictures.

              Dell 3080 Micro BIOS dead
              by tracks
              Hello all,

I have a Dell 3080 Micro with a problem. As it is right now, it seems to be boot looping, maybe... There's no output, just fan on and power led lights up and blinks off every 2 seconds or so.
Previous owner told me he bought it with a BIOS password, he tried to use a CH341A programmer with some random test clip and tried to mess with it while it was powered on. Now it won't boot.

I tried to dump the bios with an EZP2023+ but I can't get a consistent read. Every time the dump is different, so it's unusable. I think the BIOS chip is fried.

Dell E6540 laptop completely dead after dssasembly
              by max-power
Hi, I disassemble my laptop to replace the speakers, to access them, you have to remove everything including the heat sink and fan, unscrew the motherboard, lift it up a bit to access the speaker wire.
that was not the first time I dissasemble it, i did replace the same speaker a few year ago and I repaste it last year, so I had nothing to worry about. but when I put everything back together, its completely dead.

After a bit of investigating, i found one pin of the status led ribbon cable that was unglued from the cable and bend touching another pin, I bend it back at his place...
