    I think it somehow interacts with the MOP transistor. It is signed as r921. Considering that the backlight does not light up 100%, most likely it is.

        I think you forgot to upload the picture. We can't see anything with a circled resistor on it here...

            It is there. Right underneath the mosfet. Between the cap and the inductor.

                Are you talking about the current sense resistor under the circled mosfet, about a dozen posts ago? Makes sense that would fail if the mosfet went bad, yeah. Could also have damaged the CS input on the IC...

                    The mosfet didn’t fail neither that resistor. He just resoldered that resistor.
