    dell 2007fpw not powering

    Hi everybody

    A dell 2007fpw suddenly switched off and started to blink poser and input les one.

    I ve opened the monitor and not seen any defective caps nor any burned/damaged parts.


    I ve made the following tests.
    Power only boards with spare ccfl connected to the inverter board. I ve only got one to start lightning. And the all stuff returned to the same two less blinking every 3 Seconds. Noticed a click form the main power board between each led blinking.
    If I connect the data connector to the screen, then no little ccfl start.

    I ve also seen some threads repairing the same issue but not any final conclusion.

    So, any help is welcome on where to start or any clues that this can be easily solved.

      My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

      My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.

      i have DELL INSIPRON 14 5410 2-IN-1 blinking orange and white when charger connected, i tried to find Boardview or schematics but cannot find. i opened the unit and the motherboard model number is 203071-1 Watchmen that i found written on motherboard. Where should i start because when i press power on, nothing happens. but i checked the main power rails voltages are enabled and the charging for battery LDO is 3.3 volts.

      Hello,

      I have a Lenovo here that does not want to power on. The motherboard appears to be clean, no sign of corrosion or obvious fried components. When plugged in, I see 3 blinking lights and then off. It would cycle the 3 blinking lights every 10 seconds or so as long as I have the adapter plugged in. Amp meter shows 20 volts, 0.224 amps, no fan spin, red light indicator near the charge port.

      Thermal camera shows a section of the motherboard that is warmer than the rest. It is near the connector labels JRTC1 (CMOS battery). Diode measurement to ground for pin 1 = OL,...

      I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...


      The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
      Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

      Several days ago one Dell 760 came to me. Not turning all at all, they said that before this for some time sometimes it turned on fine and then refused or just restarted sometimes without user intervention.
      The diagnostic lights on the front panel - blinking digit 3. After some testing and removing the CMOS battery, I had orange blinking power button - just one time and then back to blinking digit 3.
