    Benq Q7C3

    Hi guys,

I have this Benq Q7C3 Monitor that had no power. I replaced the Bridge rectifier and also the fuse and it turned on.

To my surprise it still didn't work, it started with a faded black display which started to turn into a white screen until it was completely white.

Every time that I turn it on the same thing happens.

I checked the C5707 transistors but none of them had a reading less than 50 ohms.

Can someone please help me out?

    Thanks,
    Matt

        Re: Benq Q7C3

do you mean the fuse near the bridge rectifier? That fuse is good.

The VGA cable is also good since it works with other monitors.

Fuse on the T-CON board which is part of the LCD panel assembly.

Thanks for your post, I am not sure which one from my board is the fuse but I tested 5 components named: FB1; FB2; FB3; FB4 and FB5 and they all showed signs of continuity.

Correct me if I'm wrong please

FB = FERRITE Bead, it is not the fuse. It should be something like F (Fuse)1 or CP (Circuit Protection)1.

I can't find that fuse. Could it be that there are no fuses?

Ah, a picture says a thousand words. What you're looking at is not the tcon board, but the main/logic board. The tcon board should be located at the top of the panel and span almost the width of the panel.

I only have two boards, the power board and the video board (T-Con Board).

Thank you bud, I figured out that that is the T-CON board. I found out what the problem is.... the fuses are fine but the connector where the ribbon cable fits in is damaged. When I press it with my finger the picture will come up.

I attached some pictures for everyone's reference.

Any clue where I can buy one?

                                        Guys,

Thanks for all those who have helped me, the monitor is now fixed.

I did put a piece of plastic to make pressure on the connector. I then used duct tape to make it hold still.

Thanks for everyone, I really learned a lesson from this and learned what is a T-CON board.

                                        Thanks guys
