The LCD panel is easily the most expensive part of the monitor. Therefore, it doesn't make sense for anyone sell new replacement ones, since for a little more money you can purchase a new monitor (same logic applies to LCD TVs) with a warranty. Even if you find a used panel, with the cost of shipping, it will be pricey.

The only place you stand a chance of getting a used panel is probably eBay. If you haven't done so already, instead of looking for a replacement using the BenQ model number, try using the model number the LCD panel itself. It's usually on a sticker attached to the panel. If you're lucky, it might be the same panel used on other brands of monitors and might give you more options to choose from.

Agreed or find a nonworking monitor with a good display on the cheap and swap out the tronix.

What parts can be salvaged from a plasma with a damaged display panel?
        by SurrealMustard
I recently found myself the proud owner of a later-model Samsung plasma (the PN59D7000 for those keeping score at home) whose panel was, unfortunately, damaged in transport. I'm now preparing to part it out, but am curious as to whether or not any damage would have come to any of the components by attempting to power it up with the panel being broken. I read in one Avsforum thread (for whatever that's worth 😂) that the "scan driver boards" (by which I assume he means buffer boards) could be impacted by doing so. Is that actually the case? If so, since I don't intend on selling bad...

LG 65UH9500 TV Panel replacement seal?
        by JayFixesIT
        Hi,

I am in the process of replacing the backlight boards on the LG 65UH9500 TV. It requires the separation of the front glass/panel to get to the boards. The panel is help on to the frame with some kind of strips that I cannot reuse to adhere the screen to the frame. Anyone have any experience/Ideas on what I can use to securely hold the 65" Panel to the frame. I would hate for the panel to fall face forward. Thank you in advance....

        by boosti45
i have a 2020 macbook pro 13" A2251 with 820-09149 logic board so i found an issue with chip labeled U6903 according to schem. boardview using flexBV software, so i removed it from the board and the issue im having is that the chip says "07A08FI ELC180" on top of it but when searching for a replacement chip, i can find tons of identical looking chips that also have "ELC180" printed on them but the first set of digits is never the same so im trying to find out if i need this exact chip with these same numbers as mine and if not which ones are compatible as a replacement?...

Trying to understand how to find best replacement cap for old parts.
        by samoelec
Disclaimer: This is the first time I step into the realm of analog electronics and my natural language is not English, so please forgive me if I failed to use the correct terms when describing things.

Recently I purchased a Tektronix TDS1012, a 20 years old product for cheap and I thought it could be a nice opportunity for playing (i.e. recapping) and learn something in the process.
The power supply board is exactly the same from this post so I'll just steal it for now.

I'm trying to find replacements for all those Lelon electrolytic caps, but then quickly...

LG 49UJ6500 LCD panel lighter band that goes away
        by howardc64
49UJ6500 LCD panel has a lighter band on top when first powered on. Goes away (or gets much fainter) after TV on for a few min. After powered off for awhile and power back on, same band appears. If powered on immediately after powering off, no or much fainter band. Running the latest firmware.

Disassembled the TV and lifted the LCD panel during testing. Band is on the LCD panel (can see the band on the panel as I lift it slightly) Backlight is perfectly even at the top edge. Double checked LCD panel alignment in the frame and is perfect but since band moved with the panel, its on...
