Anyone know where I could source a replacement screen for a 24" BenQ G2420HDB ? Been searching for a long while now -

May i ask how you got to the caps on your w1907? I have the same monitor and i've got the outer plastic casing off but the metal compartment housing the power and cap boards on the one i have is sealed and inaccessible. Seems this one was designed to be disposable. I know what i'm doing as i've recently repaired a Viewsonic of a similar spec. Cheers, Mitch -

Buying a new power supply board costs about the same as buying a soldering kit and caps separately. I'll get a new board and report back for the benefit of anyone who has this problem in future with his monitor.

When switched on, there is a buzzing noise, the desktop is visible for a couple of seconds then display goes blank. The blue power LED remains permanently on.
Can anyone tell me if this fault is definitely a capacitor issue? The two 35v 220uf capacitors are slightly raised/domed.
