Yup, I have installed that driver; it is actually the most current update and was posted on their site the day after I ordered the monitor.
I have managed to find a list of the drivers in Device Manager by going Administrative route; am still unable to delete any of them while viewing them there in Device Manager.... any suggestions?Comment

I may have stated delete when I should have said uninstal?
This sounds like a goof but, sometimes I stand back and consider all the things I know to be true, then after a bit of consentration I blank totally, and it comes to me, a light goes on and so does the monitor.
It is true that years ago I read page after page of all in wonder configuration problems and it was just the time that XP upgrade hit the stores.JimComment

Might seem a bit odd, but have you tried running the TFT (LCD-monitor) as a standard PlugAndPlay device?
My Philips 150s runs without a problem without a specific driver for it installed.
Safe mode only loads the basic drivers essential to the system, and there are no problems then, so my thought is that perhaps the monitor driver isn't suited.Comment

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow.
But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.

I ask this question in general as there are many Acer Aspire models with UEFI Insyde BIOS that do not boot to the BIOS on an external monitor (VGA, HDMI, etc) showing only the Internal LCD (LVDS, eDP etc).
It's a pain to work on Acer notebooks with a broken screen and not being able to access the BIOS using an external monitor.
