Viewsonic VX922 (Replaced all caps) Now ??

Hey guys, not sure how many of you have been successful but here is where I've been -

Issue - Monitor would work, but if it got hot would shut off (blinking green light)

Opened her up and found all the caps (tops) domed up (not flat)

Purchased repair kit and replaced all of the suspect caps. All looked good, reconnected and now just a white screen, no color but the green light does stay on. I tried but the DVI and the standard connector but no luck, just a plain white screen. No menus or anything.

    Anyone got some ideas??? https://www.badcaps.net/forum/images...frantic4yc.gif

A cable runs from the signal card to the LCD panel. Make sure that is seated properly.

If that doesn't fix it, the cable runs to the 'panel card', which is often hidden under a metal cover. Remove the cover and look for a tiny fuse.

Pictures help us help you. Attach them using 'Manage Attachments' - below the text entry area.

I hope the pics are good enough, let me know if there is something else. PS - I didn't find any small fuses when I looked. I did not pull the black tape off

On the third picture, near the top. There is a bundle of twisted pair wires going under a piece of yellow tape. That cable is going to the panel card. Check carefully, this is more complex than the usual setup. You may have pulled something loose.
