Re: ViewSonic VA 1912WB
The biggest cap in the first image looks marginal.
For best results, try replacing all of them. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: ViewSonic VA 1912WB
Welcome to the forum! There are a few issues that require attention before most members will help:
1) Please be more specific about the symptoms. Telling us there is no display isn't very helpful. Saying that there is an image for a few seconds before it goes off, that the power light stays on, or there's a flash of light, ticking sound, etc is VERY helpful. Any observations you provide can only help us help you.
2) Photos are always good, but we need to see the entire board, top and bottom. Use natural lighting and try to get the best focus possible. Remember, we're not sitting next to you and we have to see what you're seeing in order to provide test instructions.Comment

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...-

I was hoping someone could give me some advise. A friend dropped off an Xbox Series X for repair—normally not something I deal with, but I'm helping out as a favour.
Currently, the console powers on with a beep and then immediately powers off. On closer inspection, the HDMI port clearly needs replacing, and there's significant liquid damage/ missing components.
Before I go down the rabbit hole of sourcing a donor board and replacing damaged components, I wanted to ask: based on the area I've marked in the photo, do you think this could be what's causing... -
