Here's one i thought i'd share....
I had a Cibox 17in monitor in yesterday. Fault reported was that the display stayed on for a second or two then nothing.
Upon opening and looking at the power board .... i found this...
How this didn't end up in flames i'll never know but it shows just how hot they can get if something goes wrong. It got so hot it almost burned through the board and it melted the insulation sheet between the board and chassis.
