AOC LM2028 be recognized but no function

    Hi everyone,

I have a AOC LM2028 TFT which was turning off and on from time to time but still worked! Now the display and also the indicate light do not turn on when pressing the on-button. But on connection with my MacBook it recognize a LM2028!

I am new to this stuff! Is there a possibility for me to solve this problem? Or should I throw it away =(

    Thanks
    Jonathan

Can you solder? Do you own a screwdriver? A DMM? A camera? If you answered 'No' to all of these questions, no, you cannot fix it. In that case, I suggest offering it on Craigslist or Freecycle so someone else can fix it.

If you do own a screwdriver and camera, open the monitor up, take pictures of the boards, and attach them to your next post using 'Manage Attachments' below the text entry area. There is an excellent chance that you can fix it by replacing the capacitors in the power supply.

      Greetings everyone.
please, help assist me with the above PC problem.

The boars number is 6050A2559101-MB-A03. The PC does not recognized HDD, neither does it recognized NGFF SSD.

i discovered that the HDD does not spin.
there were activities at the SATA connection.

      5v is present at 14,15,16.

Pin 18 which is reserved has about 1.8v, sometimes it increases to 2v+.

Help identifying the function of these two coils - MSI Delta 15 (MS-15CK1)
      by Salvador Pérez
Hello everyone, I'm troubleshooting an MSI Delta 15 (MS-15CK1) motherboard, and I need help identifying the function of the two coils marked in the attached image. The laptop powers on and responds to the keyboard, but the screen does not turn on-neither the LCD nor the backlight. I've checked the main power rails, and all other coils seem to have the expected voltages:

      • 0.91V for the GPU
      • 1.7V for VRAM
      • 3.3V and 5V rails 1.8V for the BIOS
      • 0.9V for the CPU and iGPU 1.2V for the RAM

However, these two coils are not showing any voltage....

RX 6700 XT PowerColor not recognized in any OS
      by martimarti
      Hello,

The title explains the issue. The additional information is:

      - GPU was never disassembled
      - not recognized in Windows/Linux, not even with error, totally not recognized like it's not plugged in
      - GPU fans don't spin but work. When I turn on the system, the fans twitch for that second when I press the power button. Same thing happens when I power off the system.
      - GPU does not get hot no matter for how long I let it run even though not recognized

What I have to done so far:
      - played with the BIOS switch without any luck. OC/SILENT...

iPad 5th gen (A1823) - No charge but recognized by finder
      by Carl0s-
      Hi,

Sooo - our IT got a pile of old iPads that the sales guys have been mistreating. These are free for grabs if you want to try to get one working. Thought I'd give it a try - if I get at least some life to I can give to my kid to entertain during a car rides.

But the iPad it self - its a 5th gen cellular model. When I initially plug it in it was completely dead. It was not recognized by my Mac nor it started to charge. Disassembled it opened up the battery connector and checked the battery voltage. My multimeter showed 0,7v. Had a spare micro-usb charging board lying...
