    Unknown transformer

    Could you guys help me with this, I can't find this transformer any were no info.

    It's an Ambit Rev:7 inverter for 4 CCFLs. What kind of info do your require?

      yes i do, the transformer burnt and cant find out any thing about this board. i know it is a inverter but need to try and find replacement transformer. do you have schematics.

        Start here: Google Ambit K01.005.C.00 There are a number of places selling the inverter, claiming they have schematics, etc. Maybe you'll get lucky.

            That's not unusual. Seriously, as bad as that board was burned, I wouldn't try to replace the transformer.

              Agree with PlainBill. If it's important, you might want to have a look at one of the universal inverters, and adapt that in, using the monitors service manual. I've been reading about early Apple LCD monitors with a similar Ambit inverter with four transformers, and there was claims that the design was flawed.
