    Hansol H530

    works fine and looks like its had a set of tubes at some point,

    the spec says 1024x768 max and any screen size bigger than that shows "OUT OF RANGE" but it will auto adjust for 1280x1024 and the desktop shows up correctly but still shows o.o.r?

    does anyone know if there is a service menu to list the hours its been on like some monitors do?

      It's working fine.
      Some monitors will say unsupported when you go above their maximum resolution, others work but say out of range.

          ah right i see, yeah never thought that some just turn off when out of range lol guess its a sales gimmick to buy a model that supports higher resolution from them

          still interested in used life tho if anyone knows how to bring it up

              Squashing 1280x1024 onto a panel with a native resolution of 1024x768 looks awful. Not so much a sales gimmick, more of a 'yes we'll let you do this, just in case you get stuck in a higher resolution' message.

                      Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

                      My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

                      Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

                      Hello,
                      I bought a used Dell Inspiron 15 3520 laptop and the battery isn't charging. When I go to the BIOS setting it shows that the battery health is "excellent" but on the AC Adapter shows "not installed". I checked the pins from the power connector on the motherboard and I didn't found a short on the PS_ID pin. It dould be the charger (I don't know if this is the original) or what I have to check?...

                      Hey guys,

                      Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

                      I thinking to modify some ATX ver 1 supply, and wonder what if I connect 10k pot on 12v and center tap on brown wire? What range of 3.3v correction can to expect, or something will blow up if I close to rails, leave narrow 3.3v range?

                      It is KA7500B ic, but 3v3 sense is connected to TL431, I am not sure there is any connection between.

                      Good day everyone,

                      Let me preface this with letting you know that I have a smalltime computer repair shop but do not have a lot of experience when it comes to board diagnostics. I am good at soldering etc but finding the issue if there isn't an obvious burnt component is not my strong suit.

                      The other day I got a customer come in with a macbook A1990 (motherboard 820-01814-A) that would not turn on and had previously been getting the warning message that the battery needed servicing. (Most folks seem to ignore that message, just like the check engine light in vehicles.)...
