Audio Driver/ Controller IC labeled GAD SHM? Datasheet

    Hello,

Could anyone provide me with some information on an IC labeled GAD SHM?

This is some sort of audio driver, it connects directly to left and right speakers via some inline resistors (small value of course).

I've attached an image of the chip on board, I counted 20 pins. It might be some sort of op amp; it isn't the primary audio processor, as there is a separate dedicated chip for that.

    Thank you for your time.

Brilliant, thank you kindly for that.

Just out of curiosity, how did you know/ learn that? Google results didn't help me much.

I'm also just curious, doesn't seem the Datasheet is exactly the help I need. In the L and R outputs I have a 2.2ohm resistor and another resistor, I can only measure it at approximately 0.04ohms. I'm assuming this other resistor is actually just a 0ohm bridge and not really a crucial resistance value, would you agree with that?

The reason I ask is because I had to repair some wiring on the board and the R channel has the smaller 0.04ohm resistor right next to the positive terminal. My iron tip took it right off the board and as I was arranging my Tweezers to reposition it, the little bugger went flying into oblivion - never to be found by humans again!

I thought I metered it at 7ohms, but upon comparison with the left channel that proved not to be the case, more than likely my meter leads were not zeroed properly, or I might have been reading 0.7 ohms in my haste. Anyways, I'll either bridge those pads with another 0ohm, or just a blob of solder, or a small wire. Unless you feel it is actually a 0.04ohm (40mohm) resistor, in which cases I should replace that accordingly, or find a more accurate measurement.

      Thanks for your response.

I just googled for "IC marking code GAD" ,then looked at the results at a few marking code sites.Heres the one where i found it

Need Audio Driver for Thomson P14C4BK128 (Windows 10/11)

            Hi everyone,

I'm looking for help finding the correct audio driver for my Thomson P14C4BK128 laptop.
The sound is not working properly, and I believe the audio driver is missing or not installed correctly.

            Here are the details:
            • Model: Thomson P14C4BK128
            • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

If anyone has a working link to the driver or knows where I can download it, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
            by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

            LED DRIVER KEEPS DYING
            by osrex
Hello, this is my first post and im just a beginner, so be easy on me guy. thanks

i have a LED chandeilier that switches colors from white to cool white to warm when toggling the switch, it has 24 LED arms, each arm is 30 CM length.

i have no datasheet at all for the LED lights, all i have is its length.

long story short, testing the chandelier on the ground, and it works fine for 1 - 2 - 6 hours, no problem.

as soon as i fix the chandelier to the ceiling and bury the driver inside the hub,...

            by master3112
            I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)

When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on...
