This is my next project .

Thermistor blown & cannot identify type .

Can anyone help?

Nothing in service manual .

Ended up using a powerful 10 OHM 6 AMP type .

Unit now on test .

Couldn't find any other issues apart from three 47MF 35V caps on the primary side of PSU measuring low .

Very old thread, and a longshot: Did this work? Is it a Thermistor? I have the same problem now, and have found a schematic with the numbers 5 and 5A, I gress it is 5ohm if it is a thermistor. The symbol in the schematic indicates a varistor though.
