Brilliant Check12 that was much easier that way thanks for the step by step guide. See when you say inject and trace test signals how would I do that on a power supply to check for power going into the smps and back out the other side ... Cheers

That was for tracing audio faults when the PS is working.

Just another wee quick question How would I go about finding out what voltage is getting to the transformer and also out the transformer I'm getting voltage out of the filter capacitor and voltage out from pin 4 and 7 from ic2 top245y I've attached a picture of the area marked in red. Thanks in advance

... what are you getting at the power supply output connectors? are you getting any of the +12. +5, +15, -15, +48 voltages?

Can you hear any ticking sounds from the PS when plugged in?

With the supply in the mixer did any LEDS momentarily flash when you switch it on? Is the Phantom Power LED still lighting when the switch is pressed?

Have you checked the secondary diodes: D4, D5, D6, D8, D9?
